Inspired by Bohemia's tiny, but blooming city garden, filled with pollinator friendly flowers, we have designed a new collection of hand embroidered basket bags.

The Forget-Me-Not has to be one of their favourite flowers with it’s dainty sky blue florets. In Victorian times these sweet blue blooms were exchanged as a symbol of devoted and faithful love. The botanical name, Myosotis, from the Greek meaning mouse’s ear, refers to the shape and hairy surface of the leaves.

These original illustration has been embroidered onto this popular palm leaf market basket by the skilful hand of women artisans in Morocco. A sustainable and eco-friendly handwoven tote basket, this design is the perfect size for shopping trips, picnics and summer days at the beach.

A combination of the time-honoured, traditional techniques of weaving and embroidery make these floral woven baskets a true celebration of slow craft.

Please note these palm leaf baskets are handwoven in the round and feature a 'step' on the rim where they are tied and finished. This is intentional and not a flaw, but rather a part of the design.
