Inspired by their tiny, but blooming city garden, filled with pollinator friendly flowers, we have designed a new collection of hand embroidered basket bags.

The vibrant Nasturtium is a cottage garden favourite and powerhouse of a plant. The edible flowers and peppery leaves elevate a simple salad and the plants are also a natural pest repellant making them a valuable friend to the organic gardener.

Their original illustration has been embroidered onto these popular palm leaf market basket by the skilful hand of women artisans in Morocco. A sustainable and eco-friendly handwoven tote basket, this design is the perfect size for shopping trips, picnics and summer days at the beach.

A combination of the time-honoured, traditional techniques of weaving and embroidery make these woven baskets are a true celebration of slow craft.

Please note these palm leaf baskets are handwoven in the round and feature a 'step' on the rim where they are tied and finished. This is intentional and not a flaw, but rather a part of the design.
