Describe your philosophy when it comes to decoration.

I believe you have to feel truly happy and content in your own home whatever that may mean to you. I try to stay inspired, and create a warm, inviting feeling, using colours we love, artwork and objects which have meaning. We adapt our decoration as our needs and the season’s change.

Record player.

Your favourite hotel in the world.

Les Roches Rouges, in the south of France. We honeymooned here and it was quite perfect.

Your favourite restaurant in the world.

Aside from our family Italian restaurant in Hertfordshire (which is obviously my No.1), it will probably be Da Adolfo on the beach in Laurito, we’ve had many happy times here.

Favourite address for decoration in London/ in the world.

The ceramic studio/shops in Grottaglie, Puglia.
