A beautiful small scoop perfect for many of your kitchen essentials. The unique loop handle with a point at the bottom was inspired by the intricacies of a Zanzibari door.

The scoop measures a heaped tea spoon and works well with spices, seeds and dried herbs. The long handle lends itself well to use with chutneys and jams.

Some of the scoops feature a unique two-toned natural grain, showcasing the raw natural beauty of African Blackwood and are handmade using a traditional free hand carving technique.

QÄSA QÄSA's team of Makonde Wood Carvers are renowned for their craftsmanship, a skill passed down for generations. Your purchase supports job creation and helps to keep the tradition of wood carving in the Makonde tribe alive.

Made in Tanzania Material: African Blackwood - this type of wood can sometimes have beautiful light grains and sections running through it.

Care: Hand wash and dry thoroughly. Not dishwasher safe. Use food safe mineral oil when required to retain the natural finish of the wood.
