The long handle, featuring intricately carved grooves, makes it a practical spoon to use with deeper bowls. It is also versatile enough to use with shallow dishes, resting beautifully on the edge.

This large serving spoon features a harmonious blend of modern design with traditional artistry and has been carved for us by our team of Makonde Wood Carvers. They are renowned for their craftsmanship, a skill passed down for generations. Your purchase supports job creation and helps to keep the tradition of wood carving in the Makonde tribe alive.

Material: African Blackwood This type of wood can sometimes have beautiful light grains and sections running through it.

Care: Hand wash and dry thoroughly. Not dishwasher safe. Use food safe mineral oil when required to retain the natural finish of the wood.
