Very simple handwoven placemats from the backcountry of Tanzania. We love them because they adapt to any decor style - whether it’s a maximalist mix & match or an earthy boho vibe. Price is for a set of 4 placemats!

About the artisans: sister*hood believes in the potential of design & handicrafts to unlock economic opportunities for female artisans around the world. This particular product was handwoven in Tanzania, by a tiny artisan cooperative of less than 30 women. We discovered them on our recent 4 week trip to Tanzania and are excited to provide a source of income to this resilient community.
