A more substantial tray than our original round tray.  Unlike the rectangular trays the oval trays have bone inlay on the top edge.  

The trays are handmade  by a family run business of artisans in India and are  made of mango wood, edged in bone inlay. Each piece of bone inlay is painted and stuck on by hand to the wooden base and there will therefore be subtle variations between each piece and some irregularities.  This is not a fault but part of the authenticity and uniqueness of each tray.

The base of the tray is covered in black felt to avoid any scratches to surfaces.

The bone is buffalo bone and is a byproduct of the meat industry.
